10 TED Talks For Bloggers

Hey, guys! How is your Wednesday? I hope you are well. Right now I am just cuddling with my kitty and listening to Stephen snore! Today I am bringing you a post about the best 10 TED Talks for bloggers. The first time I ever even heard of TED Talks was in Highschool I believe my junior year. I was amazed with how much content was on the site, and you had so many great leaders right on your screen for free. Recently, I went back through and found some old favorites & new and made a post for you in hopes it will help you on your journey as a blogger. Enjoy!

1. Eduardo Briceno: How to get Better at the Things you Care About

In this TED Talk Eduardo speaks on the importance of spending more time in the learning zone then the performance zone. I feel as if bloggers can relate to this in so many different ways. When you start as a blogger, you believe that if you write & write that you will eventually get to the top. That isn't the case at all. Take time out of your day to research blogging tips, and reading other blogs that you admire. Are you the kind of person that struggles when you write? You just want to get your words out on the page, then you forget about grammar?  Practice your writing with a grammar program such as Grammarly! This program has helped me so much on becoming a better writer. Grammarly is a program as you type that picks up your misspelled words, and any other grammar problem you might have. The best part it's free, and the only thing you have to pay for is premium, and premium just goes in further in helping you make your writing better for your readers. Below is a screenshot of what it looks like, and how simple it is.

45 Date Ideas for Any Budget

Valentines Day got me thinking that Stephen & I really need to do more dates together. But what is there really to do? With working all the time, and not having much money told me that I was going to have a hard time with this idea. So, I started doing some research, and then sat down with Stephen & then came up with ideas together. I really hope this post gives you all some ideas on how to spend your extra time together on a budget because I believe that it should feel like Valentines Day every day.

1. Board Game Night
This is personally one of my favorites! I love to play board games, and I feel even better when I win when I'm playing with Stephen because he always wins! Uno and The Game of Life are my favorite games ever. But I really want to try Exploding Kittens. Also, Cards Against Humanity is always a good one that you can play by the rules or put your own twist on.

2. Ice Cream Date

3. See if you have $1 Bowl Night!
In my hometown, I know we have $1 bowl night during the week. Check and see if your local bowling alley as the same!

30 Self-Care Ideas

On most days I really don't know how to take care of myself. On those days, I'm lucky if I even get out of bed. Self-Care is such an important thing to practice, so that's why I made this post. I'm getting better and better at self-care then what I use to be, and these are the things that have helped me the most. Self-care reminds you how important you really are, even when it's the day that you don't feel like it at all. I hope all of these ideas help you a lot.

1. Take a hot bath.
This one is a personal favorite. Anytime I'm feeling down I just hop into the bathtub, even if that means taking multiple showers in one day. It helps!

2. Wear something soft, like my favorite, fuzzy socks!
With me, feeling something very soft makes me euphoric, it puts me in a way better mood!

5 Foundations That Every Pale Girl Should Own

Where are my pale girls at?! I'm one for sure, and I know my struggle was always trying to find a foundation that worked for my skin tone. So I was thinking and decided to put together this guide on 5 foundations that I know are great for pale girls and for different skin types! I have oily skin, and large pores so that makes it even harder for me to find a foundation that works for me. On this post, I give you some high brand foundations and low-end drugstore brands.

I'm Excited to be Back.

Yeah, you heard that right.

I never thought I would be back on this blog, but every time I come back to it feels more and more like home. I started this blog back when I was High School, it has so many memories and feelings in it. I thought I was finished with it, but it never felt finished. I trust in my gut, and when it is telling me that something isn't finished and I'm not focusing on the right thing, I follow it. So, I'm back onto this blog. I started a different blog for a little bit, but it just didn't feel the same. I built a following on this blog, and also find many people that I love and follow on this one.

There is too new starts or restarts actually. I'm excited to be back home, on what makes me comfortable. I changed the name of this blog from My Lovely, But Crazy Life to Hannah Nicole. Hannah Nicole is me (duh) and I feel as it brands me more. I mean, this is where I write about life and everything. I can't wait to see what comes of this.
